Tera PvP Battlegrounds Update!

The lack of battlegrounds (instanced pvp) was one of the major shortcomings of Tera at launch. Battlegrounds have long been a staple of MMORPGs and Tera now provides this popular form of instant pvp gratification. Tera’s previous pvp was limited to world pvp and “griefing” in which higher level players prowled low level zones picking off questing players.

Tera launches its biggest update, free of charge, on Aug 22, 2012 • PvP Battlegrounds • 20-Player Raid • New class abilities, and more!

Argon Queen Update!

  1. All-new PvP battlegrounds!
  2. Guilds compete for rank on leaderboards – Check each weak to see who is on top! Epic 15 vs. 15 matches that cross-servers – Not just on your own server!
  3. The battlegrounds have BAMs, Big Ass Monsters, and you have to decide on-the-fly whether to fight the BAMs when they come rampaging at you or your opponents, or work together with the enemy to take down the common BAM enemy, then get back to fighting each other. That is up to you!
  4. There is unique phat loot that can only be gotten from Battlegrounds, like the Marack black armor set!
  5. New 20-player Raid!
  6. New dungeons culminating in the epic Argon Queen battle!
