On Friday, June 30, 2023, we broadcasted our Ashes of Creation June Development Update live on Twitch with Steven Sharif (Creative Director) and Margaret Krohn (Director of Communications). Viewers got to see a our progress towards Freeholds. Afterwards, we shared images from our Character Art Team, and answered quite a few questions.
Freeholds are critical for guilds. Why? Because the BiS gear in the game will be crafted gear, and the only place with BiS craft tables are Freeholds which are owned by guilds.             FYI, Gear will be very important to the economy because all gear degrades over time/with usage to the point where it is permanently broken. So players will always have to have their next set of gear in the bank So like Star Wars Galaxies, the game is going to need Players who are just professional crafters. |
