Records are not officially maintained, however, we have reason to believe this Polaris is one of fewer than ten currently in existence. Over the weekend, the RUIN Star Citizen organization achieved a significant victory by securing the coveted Wikelo Special Polaris during the “Align and Mine” event. This triumph was the result of a two-week, around-the-clock operation that demanded intense coordination and commitment from the entire RUIN guild, bolstered by allied players. The operation saw heavy combat, with multiple teams of miners and support vehicles working tirelessly under the protection of a robust Combat Air Patrol. This large-scale effort ensured uninterrupted control of critical resources, showcasing RUIN’s ability to execute complex, sustained campaigns in the Star Citizen universe.
The event also highlighted RUIN’s organizational prowess and community engagement, as they hosted access to Orbital Lazer Platforms, unveiling an array of powerful weapons and new armor variants/cosmetics. The operation wasn’t just a logistical success—it was a spectacle of memorable PvP clashes, drawing in international organizations and prominent YouTubers and livestreamers. RUIN’s ability to field multiple well-crewed capital ships alongside fighter aircraft underscored their dominance in high-stakes engagements, cementing their reputation as a formidable force in the game’s competitive landscape. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY RUIN Gaming is at a critical juncture in its history as we conclude our engagement with the World of Warcraft (WoW) World Soul Saga, marking the end of twenty years of narrative under the narrative direction of Chris Metzen. This closure signals not only the completion of a significant chapter but also the initiation of a strategic realignment toward emerging massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs), including Star Citizen, Ashes of Creation, and Dune Awakening. This shift is driven by Blizzard Entertainment’s insufficient investment in WoW’s player-versus-player (PvP) capabilities and outdated game engine. RUIN Gaming will reduce WoW operations to minimal player-versus-environment (PvE) activities on the Stormrage server, closing all Classic branches and most Retail branches. Concurrently, active support for Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) will cease following its transfer to Broadsword. Recruitment, leadership development, and financial support initiatives are underway to ensure mission readiness for operations in new MMORPGs, focusing on large-scale PvP and community-driven engagements. Subsequently, we encourage Game Developers to provide our community with massive multiplayer content that we have always envisioned, bringing virtual communities into a fully realized and complete state. We hope to engage an increasingly wide player base and keep invested in currently popular and upcoming gaming platforms by utilizing our social media well. EVENTSRUIN traditionally hosts a variety of guild events in and out of game. Including Blizzcon, movie premiers, summer vacation retreats and other gaming or entertainment industry related conventions and events! The Roadmap featured here, is based on an extensive collaborative effort to review games all across the MMO Genre to build a concise vision of what we hope to achieve. We constantly gather suggestions and feedback directly from our communities and players in order to effect change and positive reforms within RUIN. Plans are being developed to also host viewing parties of various popular series that include The Mandalorian, and some from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
