Diablo IV Vibiana Launch Event Venue RUIN has been invited to attend the Diablo IV launch event at the Vibiana venue in Los Angeles. Produced with Secret Cinema, Blizzard Entertainment has created a unique immersive space inside a massive cathedral landmark that mimics the look of Diablo IV’s open world. On May 31, doors will open at 7 PM PT at Vibiana (214 S Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90012) with a special announcement and theatrical moment at 9 PM PT. This event is 21+ and IDs will be verified upon guest check-in. We encourage thematic dress or come as you are. Former Cathedral Turned Event Venue Built in 1876, the Cathedral of St. Vibiana was designed by Ezra F. Kysor – one of Los Angeles’ first practicing architects. Saved from demolition by the LA Conservancy through a dramatic battle with the Catholic Church after the 1994 Northridge earthquake left the building in dire condition, the cathedral was restored and retrofitted by DTLA revitalization pioneers Gilmore and Associates and converted into the stunning event venue it is today, known simply as Vibiana. Los Angeles restaurateurs Chef Neal Fraser and Amy Knoll Fraser took over the operation of the property in late 2012 and furthered the adaptive reuse by adding their flagship restaurant Redbird along with 5 private dining spaces in the rectory building adjacent to Vibiana’s grand Main Hall and Courtyard. Vibiana hosts weddings and social occasions, corporate events, non-profit fundraisers, performing arts shows and film shoots. Invite Only – Produced with Secret Cinema, Blizzard Entertainment has created a unique immersive experience inside a massive cathedral landmark that mimics the look of Diablo IV’s open world. No matter their experience with gaming and/or the Diablo lore, guests at the event will embark on a journey that is sure to drag them into the eternal struggle between the High Heavens and Burning Hells. Mix and mingle with angels and demons, participate in sacred rituals, and watch in awe as the game’s protagonist, Lilith, returns and all hell breaks loose. |
